About me

Most photographers are rarely in front of a camera, but rather focus on putting (and photographing) others in the spotlight. We tell many stories and our own might be hidden in the pictures we take.

My story is a simple one: a few years back I started to get more and more interested in photography. Not much time had passed and I bought my first DSLR, a Canon 700D. Starting with my incredibly cute rabbit (see here) it quickly moved to macro photography and other animals. These days I take a lot of landscape and cityscape pictures, as there are plenty of opportunities for this in and around Heidelberg.

In the meantime I have upgraded to a Canon 77D and would like to gain some experience in portrait photography (if you are looking to collaborate on this, please contact me via the contact form here).

Photography is the pause button to life.

I studied chemistry at the Goethe University Frankfurt and Heidelberg University. Because of these ties to the two cities, I very much enjoy capturing their beautiful surroundings. Furthermore, I am always happy to explore cities across Europe.
